I had to look up Epoisses, which turns out to be french cheese. I am pretty sure I have never had it, but not 100% certain. Bagna cauda, which is a kind of hot sauce, and Baijiu is vodka. I haven't had these either, but definitely would given the chance. I may have had Umeboshi, but am not certain.

I almost crossed out Whole Insects, but decided I might eat them under the right circumstances. Roadkill doesn't sound yummy, so I think might have to pass.

Horse (which I had as raw sushi) was not so delicious that I would order it again.

glad you allow anons, too much trouble to find my id/pass info

I found your blog looking for anti HFCS t-shirts, after the Corn Growers decided to spam our airwaves, I would have been happy for them, if they had touted the bio-fuel use, or the "hey it's tasty" angle - but the HFCS hey it's not bad, because it's made from corn, has incensed me

if you ever make the stickers into a t-shirt design, I'd be interested...heck little change needed too, since most Americans would actually contain HFCS

also wondering if you or anyone else has ever actually applied the stickers at the grocery store? I love the idea, but don't really want to go to jail over it (vandalism? right?)

thanks, bookmarking so I can make my way back here

Did you ever see this shirt:

http://buttonwillowsix.blogspot.com/2008/06/cool-hfcs-t-shirt.html

I covet it.

You are right, I should make it into a shirt! Isn't most of the carbon in our bodies from corn? There are a few shirts on Zazzles with this theme, but none that I think have great graphics.

I have applied a couple of stickers in grocery stores in different states, mostly on bread (lots of space, stickers stick well) and on salad dressing. But nothing more than a sticker here, sticker there, and I try to stay away from the UPC so I don't get in trouble. I do wonder if it is actually vandalism.

It is most fun to do a guerilla sticker campaign in an unsuspecting relative's fridge.

I have ideas for more stickers. The two I am working on right now are a 'This is not True Food' sticker and also a "Based on Real Food!" sticker which I am worried will take as a serious endorsement.

I have another idea to make some stickers with the basic ingredients for bread and put the ingredients list side-by-side with the ingredients list on bread packages.
