new round of posts

I am going to try posting more often than I have been lately. It is likely these will be shorter posts, late at night. I have been thinking a lot about Costco, Chard, vending machines, and other topics. We shall see how it goes!

Posting!

Despite the fact that I have a lot to post about, moving, pregnancy, and work have all conspired to keep me from posting! I have some things to share from my new locale, so hopefully I will get to that soon. In the meantime, I am just sorry that I won't be delivering at the hospital with the "Best Hospital Food" rating. Sigh.

Long Time Between Posts

Things have been very hectic here, so I haven't had a chance to post as much as I would like. We are moving to Utah, and then eventually Seattle, so there has been a lot to think about.

In preparation for the move to Utah, I am thinking of eating nothing but Trader Joe's for the next 4 weeks....

Sad Blender

My KitchenAid blender apparently wasn't quite up to the task of a "smoothie-each-morning" routine for very long. We have been having delicious smoothies made mostly from frozen fruit each morning for around 2 months. But I think the frozen bananas finally got to it. The little rubber teeth that connect the motor to the blades started to rip, and now will no longer turn the blade.

Apparently this is a pretty easy part to replace. This makes me happy, since I would hate to throw out the whole blender just because of this one little part!
